Morning walk

During my morning walk in the park nearby I met a mother coming from the opposite direction; she was teaching her young girl how to ride a bike.

I have to admit I was tempted to stop them both and explain that the faster you cycle the easier it is to keep the balance. Of course there is a scientific reason behind that.

They seemed so light-hearted and joyful that I didn't feel like bothering. Melancholy and a touch of sadness never leave me alone.

After all it's not what you know that makes you happier; most often it's the opposite.
